Arabic vocabulary
How to say “and correct” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَصْلِحْ ذَلِكَ مَسَاوِئَهُ
And correct its faults.
واصلح — and correct. A command-form verb 'correct/set right', opened by a connector 'wa-' that links this directive to the surrounding speech. The imperative carries its 'you' addressee inside, no separate pronoun needed. The 'wa-' here strings the order onto what precedes.
