Arabic vocabulary
How to say “examine” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَا يَتَصَفَّحُونَ أَدِلَّةَ الْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ،
They do not examine the proofs of God's oneness.
يَتَصَفَّحُونَ — they examine. A present-tense verb in the 'they' (masculine plural) form, where the '-un' ending is itself the built-in 'they' subject. It is governed by the negator before it, giving 'they do not examine'. The doers are the heedless people from the prior line, carried over without being renamed.
