Arabic vocabulary
How to say “he feeds” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيُطْعِمُهَا بِيَدِهِ،
and he feeds her with his hand,
وَيُطْعِمُهَا — and he feeds her. This bundles the coordinating wa- ('and') with a present-tense verb that has a built-in 'he' subject and an attached '-ha' (her) object: 'and he feeds her'. The wa- keeps the description of his devotion going, and under the earlier 'used to' frame this present too reads as a habit. One word holds connector, verb, and object.
