How to say “Noah” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا نُوحًا،
But go to Noah.
نُوحًا — Noah. A proper name in the object form, the destination the going reaches; this verb of motion treats its goal-person as a direct object, which is why the name carries the object ending. As a name it is definite without 'the'. English adds 'to', but Arabic simply puts the goal in the object slot.
