وَتَسْخِيمَ الْوُجُوهَ وَالْقَطْعَ وَالصُلْبَ

وَتَسْخِيمَ — and scorching. The wa- continues the list of examples, and the noun it prefixes is a verbal noun (naming the action 'scorching'); its al- makes it definite. As another example governed by the earlier 'such as', it stays in the same case-frame. It heads an 'of'-style link with the following noun.
