Arabic vocabulary
How to say “take provisions” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيَتَزَوَّدُ لِذَلِكَ،
And he takes provisions for that,
وَيَتَزَوَّدُ — and he takes provisions. The wa- joins this to the preceding action as part of the same routine, and the verb stays present to convey a habitual 'he would provision himself'. The verb's pattern is a reflexive 'do for oneself' shape, so the provisioning is something he did for his own sake.
