Arabic vocabulary
How to say “types” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَنْوَاعِ الْخَيَالِ؟
and kinds of imagination?
وَأَنْوَاعِ — and kinds. The wa- coordinates this with the earlier list, 'and kinds of fancy'. The noun heads a possessive pair with the next word and, carried by the same understood 'by', is genitive. The single prefixed 'and' extends the catalogue of futile means one step further.
