How to say “want” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَا يُرِيدُ غَيْرَهَا،
He wants nothing else.
يُرِيدُ — he wants. A present-tense verb 'he wants', with its 'he' subject (the man) inside the form. Under the preceding 'not' it reads as 'he does not want'. The thing not wanted comes next as its object.
