Easing a Believer's Hardship

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ

From Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him.

عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ

From the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said:

مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

"Whoever relieves a believer's hardship of this world, Allah will relieve a hardship of the Day of Resurrection from him.

وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

And whoever makes it easy for the one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.

وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

And whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter.

وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ

And Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother.

وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

And whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make a path to Paradise easy for him through it.

وَمَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ

No people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves;

إِلَّا نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ

except that tranquility descends upon them,

وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ

and mercy envelops them,

وَحَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ

and the angels surround them,

وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ

and Allah makes mention of them among those who are with Him.

وَمَنْ أَبْطَأَ بِهِ عَمَلُهُ لَمْ يُسْرِعْ بِهِ نَسَبُهُ

And whoever is slowed by his deeds will not be hastened forward by his lineage.
