And when you reflect on the Quran and protect it from distortion,

And to judge it with the opinions of the theologians and the speculations of the pretentious,

He makes you witness a Sovereign, Ever-Living, above His heavens on His Throne,

He manages the affairs of His servants,

He commands and forbids,

And He sends messengers and reveals scriptures,

And He is pleased and becomes angry, and He rewards and punishes,

And He gives and withholds, honors and humiliates, lowers and raises,

He sees from above the seven heavens,

And He hears and knows the secrets and the openly declared,

He does what He wills.

Described by every perfection,

Free from every imperfection.

Not a particle moves nor anything greater except by His permission.

Nor does a leaf fall except by His knowledge.

No one intercedes with Him except by His permission.

His servants have no guardian or intercessor besides Him.
