And He brought forth from it pasture and fodder, making them provisions.
And He made it a dwelling for His creatures — raising them as children and gathering them as remains.
And He decreed for its inhabitants a measured lifespan and an appointed time.
So He decreed for them life, and He decreed upon them death.
No lesson strikes home like the fact that your father and your mother have died.
