The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Allah guarantees for the one who goes out in His path, driven solely by striving for My cause,
and faith in Me and belief in My messengers,
I am responsible for admitting him to Paradise,
or bringing him back to his home from which he departed with what he has gained of reward,
or spoils of war.
By the One in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, there is no wound inflicted in the Cause of Allah except that it will come on the Day of Resurrection in the same state it was when it was inflicted,
its color is the color of blood,
and its fragrance is the fragrance of musk.
By the One in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, if it were not hard on the Muslims, I would never remain behind any expedition that fights in the cause of Allah, ever,
but I do not find the means to provide mounts for them, nor do they find the means to go out on their own,
By the One in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, I would love to fight in the cause of Allah and be killed,
then fight and be killed, then fight and be killed."
