Proof of the True Messenger

فَأَقَامَ سُبْحَانَهُ الْبُرْهَانَ الْقَاطِعَ عَلَى صِدْقِ رَسُولِهِ وَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَتَقَوَّلْ عَلَيْهِ فِيمَا قَالَهُ

He, glorified be He, has established the definitive proof of the truthfulness of His Messenger and that he did not fabricate anything against Him in what he said.

وَأَنَّهُ لَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِ لَمَا أَقَرَّهُ وَلَعَاجَلَهُ بِالْإِهْلَاكِ

And if he had fabricated against Him, He would not have approved of him and would have hastened his destruction.

فَإِنَّ كَمَالَ عِلْمِهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ وَحِكْمَتِهِ تَأْبَى أَنْ يُقِرَّ مَنْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِ وَافْتَرَى عَلَيْهِ وَأَضَلَّ عِبَادَهُ وَاسْتَبَاحَ دِمَاءَ مَنْ كَذَّبَهُ وَحَرِيمَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ،

For His perfect knowledge, power, and wisdom refuse that He would approve of someone who fabricated against Him, misled His servants, justified the bloodshed of those who denied him, their sanctities, and their wealth.

وَأَظْهَرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ وَالْجَوْرَ وَالْكَذِبَ وَخَالَفَ الْخَلْقَ

And who spread corruption, injustice, and falsehood on earth and opposed creation.

فَكَيْفَ يَلِيقُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ وَأَرْحَمِ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَأَقْدَرِ الْقَادِرِينَ أَنْ يُقِرَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ

How then can it befit the Most Wise of the wise, the Most Merciful of the merciful, and the Most Powerful of the powerful to approve him in that?

بَلْ كَيْفَ يَلِيقُ بِهِ أَنْ يُؤَيِّدَهُ وَيَنْصُرَهُ وَيُعْلِيَهُ وَيُظْهِرَهُ وَيُظْفِرَهُ بِأَهْلِ الْحَقِّ يَسْفِكُ دِمَاءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَبِيحُ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَوْلَادَهُمْ وَنِسَاءَهُمْ قَائِلًا

Rather, how can it befit Him to support, aid, exalt, manifest, and empower him over the people of truth while he sheds their blood, justifying their wealth, children, and women, claiming:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي بِذَلِكَ

Indeed, Allah commanded me to do that.

بَلْ كَيْفَ يَلِيقُ بِهِ أَنْ يُصَدِّقَهُ بِأَنْوَاعِ التَّصْدِيقِ كُلِّهَا فَيُصَدِّقَهُ بِإِقْرَارِهِ وَبِالْآيَاتِ الْمُسْتَلْزِمَةِ لِصِدْقِهِ الَّتِي دَلَالَتُهَا عَلَى التَّصْدِيقِ كَدَلَالَةِ التَّصْدِيقِ بِالْقَوْلِ

Rather, how can it befit Him to endorse him with all types of confirmations, affirming him by acknowledging him with signs that necessitate his truthfulness, whose implications for confirmation are like confirmation by word.

وَيُصَدِّقَهُ بِكَلَامِهِ وَقَوْلِهِ ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ الدَّلِيلَ الْقَاطِعَ عَلَى أَنَّ هَذَا قَوْلُهُ وَكَلَامُهُ

And verify him with His speech and declaration, then establish the definitive proof that this is His statement and speech.
