لَا يُصَلَّى بِتَيَمُّمٍ وَاحِدٍ إِلَّا فَرِيضَةً وَاحِدَةً سَوَاءٌ اتَّفَقَتَا أَوِ اخْتَلَفَتَا

A single dry ablution may only be used for one obligatory prayer, whether they are of the same or different type.

فَلَا يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ صَلَاتَيْنِ مَفْرُوضَتَيْنِ بِتَيَمُّمٍ وَاحِدٍ وَيَجُوزُ أَنْ يُضَمَّ إِلَى الْفَرِيضَةِ نَوَافِلُ مَعَهَا

Two obligatory prayers cannot be combined with a single dry ablution, but it is permissible to add optional prayers to it.

أَمَّا صَلَاةُ الْجَنَازَةِ فَحُكْمُهَا فِي الْجَمْعِ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى النَّوَافِلِ

As for the funeral prayer, its ruling regarding combining is closer to optional prayers.

فَيُصَلَّى بِهَا أَكْثَرُ مِنْ جَنَازَةٍ بِتَيَمُّمٍ وَاحِدٍ عَلَى الأَصَحِّ

More than one funeral prayer may be performed with a single dry ablution according to the more correct opinion.

وَلَا يَصِحُّ التَّيَمُّمُ لِفَرِيضَةٍ قَبْلَ دُخُولِ وَقْتِهَا

Performing a dry ablution for an obligatory prayer before its time has commenced is invalid.

فَإِنْ تَقَدَّمَ بَطَلَ عَنِ الْفَرْضِ وَعَنِ النَّفْلِ الْمُؤَقَّتِ

If done earlier, it is invalid for both the obligatory prayer and the time-bound voluntary prayer.

وَيَجُوزُ التَّيَمُّمُ لِلنَّوَافِلِ غَيْرِ الْمُؤَقَّتَةِ فِي سَائِرِ الْأَوْقَاتِ غَيْرِ أَوْقَاتِ الْكَرَاهَةِ

It is permissible to perform a dry ablution for non-time-bound optional prayers at all times except those of dislike.

وَمَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً مِنَ الْخَمْسِ وَلَمْ يَدْرِ عَيْنَهَا لَزِمَهُ الإِتْيَانُ بِجَمِيعِ الْخَمْسِ

If someone forgets one of the five prayers and does not know which, they must perform all five.

وَيَكْفِيهِ فِي الْأَصَحِّ تَيَمُّمٌ وَاحِدٌ لَهَا إِذَا كَانَتْ قَضَاءً مُتَرَتِّبًا فِي وَقْتٍ وَاحِدٍ

According to the more correct opinion, a single dry ablution suffices if they are to be made up consecutively in the same time.

وَوَقْتُ الْفَائِتَةِ يَثْبُتُ بِتَذَكُّرِهَا

The time for a missed prayer is established upon remembering it.

فَمَنْ تَذَكَّرَهَا تَيَمَّمَ وَصَلَّى

Whoever remembers it should perform a dry ablution and pray.

وَإِذَا أَتَمَّ فَرِيضَةً بِالتَّيَمُّمِ ثُمَّ زَالَ عُذْرُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَشْرَعَ فِي نَافِلَةٍ

If one completes an obligatory prayer with dry ablution, and the excuse is lifted before beginning a non-obligatory prayer,

اِنْقَطَعَ بِهِ اِسْتِبَاحَةُ النَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى يُجَدِّدَ طَهَارَةً

The permission to perform voluntary prayers ceases until one renews purification.
