The disbeliever is not prevented from hearing the Quran, as per the saying of Allah, the Exalted.
And if one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so he may hear the word of Allah.
And he is prevented from touching the Quran.
And is it permissible to teach him the Quran? Our scholars said...
If his conversion to Islam is not anticipated, it is not permissible to teach him.
And if his conversion to Islam is anticipated, there are two opinions.
The more correct of the two is that it is permissible, hoping for his conversion to Islam.
The second opinion is that it is not permissible, just as it is not permissible to sell the Quran to him.
And if his conversion to Islam is anticipated...
As for if we see him learning, should we prevent him? There are two views.
