He arose on the Day of Apostasy with understanding and alertness.
And he clarified from the text of the Book a meaning too subtle for sharp eyes.
The lover rejoices in his virtues, and the hater seethes in anguish.
The objector desires to escape from the gathering where he is mentioned.
But where is the escape?
How much he protected the Messenger with his wealth and his life.
And he was closest to him in his life.
And he is his companion in the grave.
His virtues are magnificent, and they are free from ambiguity.
How amazing is one who covers the eye of the sun's light at midday!
Indeed, they entered a cave where no one had stayed.
Al-Siddiq felt uneasy due to fear of what might happen.
The Messenger said, "What do you think of two when Allah is the third?"
Then tranquility descended, and fear of the event was lifted.
So anxiety vanished, and the resident's life became pleasant.
The caller to victory stood proclaiming from the tops of the minarets of the cities.
Second of the two when they were in the cave.
His love is by Allah the essence of Hanifiyyah, and his hatred indicates wickedness of heart.
For he is the best of the companions.
And the kinship and the evidence for that are strong.
If not for the soundness of his leadership, he would not be called the son of Hanifiyyah.
Wait, for indeed the rage of the dissenters has boiled over.
