Arabic vocabulary
How to say “a fur” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَبَسَطْتُ فِيْهِ فَرْوَةً،
And I spread in it a fur.
فَرْوَةً — a fur. An indefinite noun, a fur, serving as the object of 'spread', so it takes the object ending; its trailing '-an' marks it indefinite. That '-n' sound is Arabic's end-of-word way of saying 'a/an'. It names the thing laid down.
