How to say “al-Nizam” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قِيلَ لإِبْرَاهِيمِ النِّظَامِ
They said to Ibrahim al-Nizam:
النِّظَامِ — al-Nizam. This is a second name forming a chain with the previous one, an epithet identifying the same person, so it stays in the same (genitive) as the name it qualifies. Its al- and the doubling of the consonant carry the nickname's distinctive shape. It completes the full identification of the addressee.
