Arabic vocabulary
How to say “attain” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَتَمَيَّزَ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ حَاصِلُهُمْ الَّذِي حَصَّلُوهُ،
And for every people, the outcome they had attained was made clear,
حَصَّلُوهُ — they had attained it. A past-tense verb in an intensive pattern, 'they earned / amassed', with the -u 'they' ending and the object -hu ('it') fused on. So subject, action and object are one word, the 'it' pointing back to the outcome the relative word introduced. The pattern stresses deliberate accumulation.
