How to say “beware” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِلَّا فَإِحْذَرْهُ
If not, then beware of him.
فاحذره — then beware of him. Joins the connector 'fa-' to a command-form verb, with a '-hu' (him) fused on as object. The 'fa-' here marks the result of the 'otherwise' case, 'then', linking the order to its condition. So one word gives 'then beware of him', the advice for the unfair case.
From: On Reason and Temptation →وَإِحْذَرْ مِنْ نِفَارِ النِّعَمِ،
And beware of the withdrawal of blessings.
واحذر — and beware. A 'wa-' fused to a command-form verb, 'and beware!'. The 'wa-' links this warning to the preceding counsel, while the verb is an imperative aimed at 'you'. It governs the 'of...' phrase that follows as what to be wary of, so the bundle issues a direct caution to the reader.
