How to say “fate/death” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فلتأته منيته وهو يؤمن بالله واليوم الأخر،
let him meet his death while believing in Allah and the Last Day,
مَنِيَّتُهُ — his death. This is 'death' with 'his' attached, 'his death', and it is the subject of the 'let... come' command. The suffix marks the person as its owner; the noun names the appointed end being told to come to him.
