How to say “for these” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَصَارَ خَزَّانَةً لِهَذِهِ الأَشْيَاءِ
So it became a storehouse for these things.
لِهَذِهِ — for these. The preposition 'li-' ('for') fused onto a pointing-word ('these'), giving 'for these'. It governs the demonstrative in the genitive ending and marks the four things as what the storehouse holds, linking the vault to its contents.
