Arabic vocabulary
How to say “full brother” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَهُوَ وَالنَّصْرُ أَخَوَانِ شَقِيقَانِ
So he and victory are full brothers.
شَقِيقَانِ — full brothers. An adjective 'full / same-parentage', also in the dual to agree with 'two brothers' before it. It sharpens the image: not just brothers but full brothers, inseparable. The dual ending matching the noun is what binds the adjective to it.
