Arabic vocabulary
How to say “harder” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَصْعَبُ مِنْ الْحَدِيدِ
And harder than iron.
وَأَصْعَبُ — and harder. The wa- coordinates this onto the previous comparative, adding a second measure of the same kind. The word it joins is itself a comparative, 'harder', sharing the predicate role. So it extends the chain of comparisons begun before.
