Arabic vocabulary
How to say “hastened” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَرُبَّمَا عَجَلَ اِنْقِبَاضُهُ
So perhaps its contraction was hastened.
عَجَلَ — it hastened. A past-tense verb, 'hastened/came quickly', softened by the earlier 'perhaps' into a 'may have hastened' reading. Its subject, the contraction, comes right after it in normal verb-then-subject order. So the line warns that the withdrawal of forbearance can come faster than expected.
