أَوْدَعَ قَلْبَهُ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْيَاءَ
He placed four things in his heart.
أَوْدَعَ — he placed. A causative-pattern past verb ('he deposited / placed for safekeeping') with its 'he' subject built in, pointing back to God. The verb's deposit-sense colors the whole sentence: the heart is treated as a trust-store for what is placed in it.
