How to say “his departure” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَدْ أَيْئَسَ مِنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ،
And he had already despaired of his departure.
رَاحِلَتِهِ — his departure. This noun is fused with an attached masculine pronoun 'his', so one word means 'his mount'. It sits in the genitive as the object of the preceding 'of', and the suffix names the owner, the traveller who lost it.
