Arabic vocabulary
How to say “His house” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَجُعْلُنَا حِضْنَةَ بَيْتِهِ وَسَوْسَاسَ حَرَمِهِ،
And He made for us custodianship of His House and guardianship of its sanctuary.
بَيْتِهِ — His house. This noun closes the 'custody of...' pairing and itself carries -hi on the end, an attached 'his' that names the owner. The -hi reaches back to God as the possessor, so the whole pairing reads 'custody of His House', with two layers of ownership stacked in a row.
