How to say “I repaid her” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَتَرَانِي جَزَيْتُهَا؟
Do you think I repaid her?
جَزَيْتُهَا — I repaid her. A past-tense verb with two endings stacked on it: -tu marks past plus 'I' as doer, and -ha ('her') is the object receiving the action. So 'I repaid her' is built from one stem with subject and object both folded into its tail, where English needs three separate words. The -ha points back to the mother.
