Arabic vocabulary
يُجْعَلُ is how you say “is made” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
فذلك يوم يجعل الولدان شيباً،
That is the day which will turn children gray-haired,
يُجْعَلُ — will turn. A passive verb 'is made / rendered' — describing the day: it is one in which something is made into something else. This verb takes TWO parts even in the passive: a thing, and what it is turned into. The thing (children) and the result (gray-haired) follow.
