How to say “may you be accursed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَتْ تَعَسْتِ
So she said, "May you be accursed."
تَعَسْتِ — may you be accursed. This is a curse-form verb, an imprecation hurled at the addressee: its shape and ending throw a wish of ruin onto a 'you'. The ending here points the curse at a woman she is speaking to. It is a wish, not a report of fact, which is why it reads as 'may you perish' rather than 'you perished'.
