How to say “mithqal” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَنُشْ يَعْنِي نِصْفَ مِثْقَالٍ
And nush means half a mithqal.
مِثْقَال — mithqal. A noun completing the 'of' pairing, 'a mithqal', and so in the genitive as the thing the half is of. Placed straight after the head with no separate 'of', it finishes 'half a mithqal'.
