Arabic vocabulary
How to say “moisture” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كُلَّمَا ازْدَادَ رَيًّا ازْدَادَ مَرَارَةً
The more moisture increases, the more bitter it becomes.
رَيًّا — moisture. A noun naming what increases, in the accusative as a specifying complement that pins down the respect in which the growth happens. So it answers 'increased in what?'. Its case marks that specifying role.
