Arabic vocabulary
How to say “more clearly” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بِلٍّ أَجْلَى،
Rather, more clearly,
أَجْلَى — more clearly. A comparative form, the 'more X' shape Arabic builds on a fixed template (here 'clearer'), used adverbially to intensify the prior comparison. Coming right after the corrective particle, it does the upgrading that particle promised, pushing 'alike' to 'even more plainly alike'.
