How to say “my allies” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَكَذَلِكَ أَفْعَلُ بِأَوْلِيَائِيِ
And thus I do to my allies.
بِأَوْلِيَائِيِ — to my allies. The bi- here is a preposition meaning 'with/to', governing the noun it attaches to, and fused to the end is -i, the 'my' possessor, so one word means 'to my allies'. The bi- marks who the action is directed at, and the governed noun takes the form prepositions require. The possessor ties the allies to the speaker.
