Arabic vocabulary
How to say “my honor” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَتَرَكْتَنِي وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلالِي
And you abandoned me, my honor, and my majesty.
وَعِزَّتِي — and my honor. The 'wa-' here couples 'my honor' onto the preceding 'me', extending the list of what was abandoned. The noun carries '-i' ('my'), and the attached 'my' is God's, so the abandonment widens to include His honor.
