We intended it only for knowledge, and the authentic report is that of Abu Dharr.
أَبِيْ — of Abu. A by-name leader ('father of') in the genitive as the owner half of 'report of Abu...', heading a further pairing waiting on its name. It nests one possessive chain inside another to name whose report is the sound one.
