He was a young boy, Laqin of Thaqif.
ثَقِيفٌ — of Thaqif. A final describing word in the running portrait, in the same nominative, indefinite shape as the noun, marking a tribal or trait affiliation of the youth. It closes the chain of qualities attached to 'a boy', agreeing with what it describes.
