Arabic vocabulary
How to say “onlookers” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
والأنعام وهي معجبة للمالك والنظار،
And the cattle, which impress both the owner and the onlookers,
وَالنُّظَّارِ — and the onlookers. The 'and' joins a second experiencer and keeps it in the genitive case set by the earlier 'for', since coordination carries the case along. So the onlookers stand grammatically level with the owner as the other party impressed by the cattle.
