Arabic vocabulary
تناجش is how you say “overbid” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا،
and do not artificially raise prices,
تَنَاجَشُوا — artificially raise prices. Another reciprocal Form VI verb, 'drive up prices on one another' by sham bidding, with the plural 'you' inside. The prohibition keeps it in the jussive: a forbidden mutual deception in trade.
