Arabic vocabulary
How to say “prudent” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِذَا قَدَمْتَ فَالْكَيْسَ الْكَيْسَ
So when you arrive, be especially prudent.
فَالْكَيْسَ — so the prudent. Here fa- introduces the response to the condition ('then'), and it leads a definite noun carrying al- ('the'). This first appearance of the word sets up the doubled, emphatic command for prudence that the repetition then drives home.

الْكَيْسَ — the prudent. This repeats the previous word, and the doubling is itself the grammar: in Arabic, saying a word twice like this is a way to issue an urgent command or strong emphasis, here meaning 'be very prudent'. The accusative ending fits its role as an implied 'take to ___' object.
