How to say “recall” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
حينها لا تستدعي الكلمات فقط، بل تستدعي المشهد
Then, you do not only recall the words but also the scene.
تَسْتَدْعِي — you recall. A Form X verb, 'you summon / call up.' Its object, 'the words,' follows, with 'only' after. Negated: you do not call up JUST the words — the limited recall the next clause improves on.

تَسْتَدْعِي — you recall. The same 'summon / call up' verb, repeated for the positive half — 'rather you call up...'. Its object, 'the scene,' follows. The repetition balances 'not only words' against 'but the scene'.
