How to say “remember” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَٱذْكُرْ حَمْزَةَ مَعَ وَحْشِيِ
And remember Hamza together with Wahshi.
وَٱذْكُرْ — and remember. Two pieces fuse: wa- ('and') tying this to the prior line, and a command verb aimed at 'you', 'remember'. Arabic builds the order by stripping the present prefix, so the bare stem signals an instruction. The wa- joins this charge to the run of exhortations.
