Arabic vocabulary
How to say “remember” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَاذَكُرْ نِعْمَةً مَا شَكَرْتَ،
So remember the blessing you did not give thanks for.
فَاذَكُرْ — so remember. A 'fa-' fused to a command-form verb, 'so remember!'. The 'fa-' answers the earlier 'whenever', so it is the 'then' that delivers the instruction once the condition is met. The verb is an imperative aimed at 'you', telling the reader what to do, and it governs the noun after it as what to call to mind.
