Arabic vocabulary
How to say “separate you from” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَدْ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُفَارِقَكَ الْحَقَّ بِأَهْلِكَ
And he has ordered me to separate you from the truth with your family.
أُفَارِقَكَ — separate you from. This verb is built on a pattern of doing-something-with-another and sits in the subjunctive shape demanded by the 'to' particle before it, with first-person 'I' as the doer and -ka ('you') fused on as the object. So one word means 'I separate you', as the commanded aim. The changed ending marks it as the intent of the order.
