وَفَهْمُهُمْ لَهُ صَحِيحًا؛
And their understanding of it was sound.
صَحِيحًا — sound. An adjective 'sound', the predicate describing their understanding. The accusative -an ending (audible tanween) marks it as the description in this 'to be' construction echoed from the prior clause: 'their understanding of it was sound'.
