وَالتَّارِيخَ وَالْحِكَايَاتَ،
and history and stories,
وَالْحِكَايَاتَ — and stories. Here wa- coordinates the second item of the short list, a definite feminine plural noun. The conjunction simply pairs it with the previous noun. Its al- marks it as the general category of such tales.
