Arabic vocabulary
How to say “sudden onset” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمُفَاجَأَةِ النُّقَمِ،
and the sudden onset of misfortunes,
وَمُفَاجَأَةِ — and sudden onset of. A 'wa-' fused to an action-noun, 'and the sudden striking of...'. The 'wa-' links this to the warning just before, adding a second danger in parallel with the first. The noun heads its own 'of' chain with the word after it and sits in the 'of'-style ending, continuing the run governed by the earlier 'beware of'.
