How to say “their plains” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَهْمٌ فِي قِطَاعَاتِ فِلَاتِهِمْ،
And a delusion is in the remote parts of their plains,
فِلَاتِهِمْ — their plains. A noun carrying -hum ('their') on its end, closing the possessive chain begun by the previous word, so it takes the 'of' (genitive) ending. It names whose open lands are meant, completing 'the reaches of their plains' as the place the delusion stretches into.
