Arabic vocabulary
How to say “their reliance” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِلَّا؛ فَمِعْوَلُهُمْ عَلَى أَغْرَاضِهِمْ
Otherwise, they rely on their desires!
فَمِعْوَلُهُمْ — so their reliance. Three parts fused: a 'so/then' link opening the consequence, a noun, and a 'their' suffix on the end. The 'so' here answers the implied 'otherwise', launching the result clause. The suffix ties the noun to the same people, so the bundle reads 'then their reliance [is]...', setting up the predicate that follows.
